CAR A Drama of the American Workplace Mary got almost unprecendented access to the inside workings of Ford as the Third generationi (1996-1999) Taurus was reasearched and created. You get to know both upper and lower level Ford people and also get inside information on suppliers. I found the book spellbinding, almost a mystery novel. Of course it helps to be a gearhead and love the car. Not much in here about the SHO, but it is mentioned along with the SHO Registry.
